Rivervale Minibus has a wide range of WAV minibuses available for the care sector, or any organisation looking to carry passengers with mobility needs.
We have minibuses that you can fit up to 3 wheelchairs at the same time, with integrated wheelchair lifts at the back of the bus, making getting on and off easy and dignified.
Lease or outright purchase
All our customers are unique, and we will work with you to find you the right minibus and finance option. You can lease a minibus from us on a 5-year contract that is fully maintained, meaning the regular services and annual MOT are included, as are replacement tyres for wear and tear. Or, you can choose to lease your vehicle but maintain it yourself.
You also have the option to purchase a minibus outright with a single payment. All our used minibuses come with a 12-month MOT and full service, 12 month RAC warranty, and 12 months of breakdown cover. You can buy from Rivervale Minibus with complete confidence.
Help with the maintenance
Once you have chosen your minibus, we will continue to support you with LOLER and weight checks, safety inspections, WAV, MiDAS and D1 Driver training as required. It is important to us that you and your vehicles are well looked after, so you can offer your residents, pupils or passengers more opportunities to get out and about and enjoy life to the full.

LOLER and Weight Checks
Once you have your mobility minibus, you will need to comply with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and have regular weight checks for all wheelchair-accessible minibuses.
LOLER requires that passenger lifts, ramps, and associated safety equipment be thoroughly examined at least every six months to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and legally compliant. Equally important are regular vehicle weight checks, confirming that the minibus—including your passengers, wheelchairs, and equipment—remains within its Maximum Authorised Mass or Gross Vehicle Weight.
