Rivervale is an independent UK vehicle leasing and fleet management business helping individuals, businesses, schools and organisations find, fund and manage their vehicles.
From leasing a single car or van to managing thousands of fleet vehicles, supplying and supporting minibuses or helping other automotive businesses expand the services they provide, our aim is simple: to make motoring easier to understand, easier to manage and easier to get right.
Today, Rivervale brings together expertise in car and van leasing, fleet management, vehicle maintenance, minibus supply and compliance, and automotive partner services, supporting customers throughout the UK.
But the business you see today has been shaped by decades of experience in the motor industry.
From Dealerships to a Nationwide Vehicle BusinessRivervale Today
Rivervale's roots are firmly planted in the motor trade.
The Rivervale name became established in Brighton during the 1980s through the motor dealership world, representing brands including Mercedes-Benz and Porsche during its history.
The foundations of the modern Rivervale leasing business were laid in 2001, when vehicle leasing brokerage Eagle Oak Vehicle Contracts was established.
Unlike a traditional franchised dealership, a leasing broker could work across different vehicle manufacturers and funding providers. This gave customers something increasingly valuable: more choice.
In 2009, Eagle Oak became part of Rivervale and the modern Rivervale leasing business began to take shape.
Over the years that followed, Rivervale evolved from primarily supplying vehicles into a much broader automotive business, adding fleet management, minibus expertise, vehicle maintenance and specialist support services.
That evolution continues today.

Car & Van Leasing
We help personal and business customers lease cars and vans from manufacturers across the market.
As an independent leasing broker, we're not tied to one manufacturer or one funding company. Our team can compare different vehicles, funders and contract structures to help customers find an option that works for them.
Fleet Management
Rivervale supports businesses ranging from SMEs with a handful of vehicles to organisations operating large national fleets.
Our fleet services cover the entire vehicle lifecycle, including vehicle sourcing, maintenance management, driver support, compliance, cost control, fleet consultancy and the transition to electric vehicles.
Today, thousands of vehicles are supported through Rivervale's fleet management and maintenance programmes.
Rivervale Minibus
Minibuses require specialist knowledge that goes far beyond simply supplying the vehicle.
Rivervale Minibus supports schools, academies, charities and other organisations with minibus leasing, purchasing and rental alongside driver training, safety inspections and minibus management and compliance guidance.
The acquisition of Castle Minibus in Bicester strengthened this specialist area of the business further.
Rivervale Partner Services
Our experience is also helping other businesses within the automotive industry.
Rivervale Partner Services works with leasing brokers, dealer groups and other automotive businesses, providing access to selected vehicle supply opportunities and white-label Service, Maintenance and Repair programmes.
It means partners can expand what they offer customers while retaining their own brand and customer relationships.
2026 Building Rivervale's
Next Chapter
Rivervale moves its Leasing and Fleet Management operations to a new Shoreham-by-Sea base, creating capacity for growth. The group also launches Rivervale Partner Services, supporting leasing brokers and automotive businesses.

Where You'll Find Us
Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex
Our main Leasing and Fleet Management operation is based in Shoreham-by-Sea, close to Brighton.
The site provides a modern base for our team while giving Rivervale additional capacity to support vehicle preparation.
Eastbourne, East Sussex
Our Eastbourne team provides car and van leasing support following the acquisition of 1st Choice Vehicle Finance.
Bicester, Oxfordshire
Bicester is home to our specialist Minibus operation, supporting schools and organisations with minibus supply, training, inspections and compliance.
Our Locations
Our main office is in Shoreham, but we have a secondary leasing office in Eastbourne and Bicester is home to our Minibus Operation

Who are Rivervale?
1957, Rivervale started as a small Ford garage.
Rivervale offer Car, Van & Minibus Leasing as-well as Fleet Services and Partner Services
The move reflects Rivervale’s long-term focus on growing its core Leasing, Fleet Management and Minibus Businesses, therefore creating a business structure that is better aligned to future demand and opportunity.
As part of this transition, Rivervale has agreed the sale of its Bosch Car Service and MAXUS Service Centre operations at Victoria Road.
The relocation to Dolphin Road, will provide Rivervale with a more suitable operational base to support its growing leasing and fleet activities, helping the business continue to evolve in line with customer needs.
The move to Dolphin Road gives Rivervale a larger, more practical base that is better suited to the way the business operates today and where it is heading next. The site offers space to create new offices, capacity to support further expansion, and room to prepare and manage vehicles for fleet customers all under one roof; giving the business greater flexibility than its previous premises, which were more aligned to a traditional dealership model.

We've moved from the traditional dealership model to vehicle leasing, built specialist fleet and minibus operations, embraced electric vehicles and technology, and developed services which now support both motorists and other automotive businesses.
