Modern Slavery Statement

This statement sets out the steps taken by Rivervale Cars Limited and Rivervale Minibus Limited to help prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and, where relevant, our supply chains.

Rivervale provides vehicle leasing, minibus solutions and fleet management services in the UK. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and operate within a regulated framework that supports fair, transparent and responsible business practices. We are also members of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. We do not knowingly work with suppliers, partners or service providers involved in slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking. We expect the businesses we work with to meet appropriate legal and ethical standards.

Our business and supply chains

Our supply chain includes finance and insurance providers, vehicle manufacturers and distributors, maintenance and repair suppliers, training providers, technology partners, and other professional and operational service providers.

Due diligence and supplier expectations

We take a proportionate approach to supplier and partner due diligence. Depending on the nature of the relationship, this may include reviewing supplier credentials, contractual terms, policies and other relevant information. We expect suppliers and partners to comply with applicable laws and to take appropriate steps to address modern slavery risks within their own operations and supply chains.

Risk management

Given the nature of our operations as a UK-based leasing broker and service provider, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct business operations to be relatively low. That said, we recognise that risks can still arise in wider supply chains. We remain alert to potential indicators of exploitation and review higher-risk relationships where appropriate.

Training and awareness

Relevant employees are made aware of modern slavery risks and the importance of raising concerns where working practices appear inconsistent with our standards or legal obligations.

Reporting concerns

Employees are encouraged to report any concerns through internal management and reporting channels. Any concerns raised are taken seriously and reviewed appropriately.

Ongoing review

We will continue to review our approach and develop our policies and processes in a way that is proportionate to the size and nature of our business.
