If you like your EVs with a more stealthy look, Volvo has just delivered. The Volvo EX30 Black Edition takes the brand’s popular compact electric SUV and adds a set of bold, dark styling upgrades, while keeping the same everyday usability that’s helped make the EX30 such a strong seller.
What’s different about the Black Edition?

Inside, the deep blue Indigo interior brings a sportier feel, with studio-inspired textiles and upcycled denim trim, exclusive to this edition.

A Black Edition line-up that keeps growing
Volvo introduced Black Edition styling on the XC60 in 2023, and the EX30 now joins a wider line-up that includes XC90, XC60, XC40, EX40 and EC40.
Volvo also notes the EX30 was the UK’s tenth best-selling battery electric vehicle in 2025, and expects the Black Edition to broaden its appeal further.
