Electric Car Grant 2025: Save up to £3,750 on a New EV
The UK Government has launched a £650 million “Electric Car Grant” (ECG). From 16 July 2025 eligible battery-electric cars priced £37,000 or less will attract a point-of-sale discount of up to £3,750. The scheme replaces the Plug-in Car Grant that ended in 2022 and is designed to narrow the price gap between petrol and electric models, accelerate the Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) transition and make monthly leasing costs even more affordable for Rivervale customers.
