Yet after spending a couple of weeks with the Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor with Prime Pack, there's surprisingly little about it that feels past its best.
In fact, there is an argument that time has helped the Polestar 2 find its place.
While newer electric cars increasingly chase enormous screens, headline-grabbing acceleration figures and ever more elaborate interiors, the Polestar 2 feels reassuringly focused. It offers serious performance, a long official range, an exceptionally well-built cabin and, crucially, a driving experience that remains genuinely enjoyable.
