A choice of electric or hybrid

One of the biggest advantages of the Frontera is the choice of powertrain.

The Frontera Electric offers up to 253 miles of WLTP range, along with rapid charging, making it a great option for drivers looking to make the move to electric. There are also two battery options, with the 44kWh version offering up to 190 miles of WLTP range and the 54kWh Extended Range version offering up to 248 miles.

If you’re not quite ready to go fully electric, the petrol hybrid gives you another option. It uses hybrid technology to offer the feel of electric driving without the need to plug in, with 100 PS and 136 PS versions available.

Designed for family life

The Frontera might have a compact SUV footprint, but there’s plenty of space inside.

With flexible storage and up to 1,600 litres of boot space, there’s room for everything from shopping and school bags to luggage for a weekend away. The rear seats can also be folded when you need to carry larger items.

And if five seats aren’t quite enough, the Frontera can be specified with seven seats. The seven-seat option is available on GS and Ultimate Hybrid models, adding two extra seats in a third row.

Technology that makes everyday driving easier

Inside, the Frontera focuses on keeping things comfortable, connected and straightforward.

Depending on the model, you can enjoy features such as smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside useful driver assistance technology including Forward Collision Warning and Lane Keep Assist. Cruise control and a speed limiter are also part of the standard equipment.

Higher-specification models add further technology and parking assistance, helping make everything from busy town driving to getting into a tight parking space a little easier.

A fresh look

The Frontera also brings a distinctive new design to the Vauxhall range.

There are six exterior colours to choose from, with the Design available with a white roof option, while GS and Ultimate models feature a standard black roof. Each trim has its own character, with Design focusing on the essentials, GS adding dynamic styling and high-tech features, and Ultimate offering the most comprehensive specification.
