Rivervale has launched a new business-to-business division designed to help leasing brokers, dealer groups and other automotive businesses expand their offering, generate additional revenue and support customers throughout the life of their vehicles.
Rivervale Partner Services gives partners access to selected vehicle supply opportunities, including bespoke Ford terms, alongside a fully managed, white-label Service, Maintenance and Repair programme.
Both services are supported by Rivervale’s experience across vehicle leasing, fleet management, franchised dealer operations and customer support.
Partners can use the services individually or combine them to offer customers a more complete vehicle leasing and ownership package.
Supporting partners behind the scenes
Rivervale Partner Services has been built to complement the way brokers and dealers already operate.
Partners remain in control of their own brand, route to market and customer relationships. Rivervale works behind the scenes, providing the systems, supplier relationships and operational support needed to expand their proposition without requiring significant additional investment or infrastructure.
Vince Pemberton, chief executive of Rivervale, said:
“Leasing brokers and dealers are always looking for ways to build revenue that keeps coming in, deal after deal.
“We have invested heavily in the systems, manufacturer relationships and operational capability that support our own business. Rivervale Partner Services allows us to make that infrastructure and expertise available to other automotive businesses.
“Our role is to work behind the scenes. Partners remain at the front of the relationship, while we provide the support that helps them offer more to their customers and grow with confidence.”
Access selected vehicle supply opportunities
Through Rivervale Partner Services, brokers can access selected manufacturer-backed vehicle terms without having to establish new supplier agreements themselves.
The service currently includes bespoke Ford terms, with plans to introduce opportunities from additional vehicle manufacturers in the future.
This gives partners greater flexibility when sourcing vehicles and allows them to explore new opportunities on a deal-by-deal basis.
There is no requirement to change existing processes or commit to using the service for every customer. Brokers can access vehicle supply when it supports a particular enquiry, complements their existing funder relationships or helps them secure a more competitive leasing proposition.
Lydia Pemberton, broker and dealer partnerships manager at Rivervale, said:
“We built Partner Services to fit around the way our partners already work.
“A broker might use us to access a particular vehicle supply opportunity, introduce SMR to create recurring revenue, or combine both services to provide a fuller package.
“We are not asking partners to change their business model. We provide the support in the background, while they retain their brand, their customers and their route to market.”
A white-label SMR programme
Rivervale Partner Services also provides a fully managed Service, Maintenance and Repair programme that brokers and dealer groups can offer under their own brand.
The programme can include:
- Routine servicing
- Vehicle maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Replacement tyres
- Breakdown support
Work is completed through a nationwide network of franchised dealerships and independent repairers.
For customers, SMR provides greater certainty over vehicle running costs through a fixed monthly payment. It can also reduce the risk of unexpected maintenance and repair bills during the contract.
For brokers and dealers, it creates an opportunity to generate recurring revenue while maintaining a relationship with the customer beyond the initial vehicle order.
Vince added:
“SMR is often introduced towards the end of a leasing conversation, but it deserves to play a much bigger role.
“It gives customers greater certainty over their running costs and gives brokers and dealers another reason to remain close to the customer throughout the life of the vehicle.
“Because the programme can be completely white-labelled, partners can provide that additional service without diluting their own brand.”
Helping automotive businesses offer more
Rivervale Partner Services is available to leasing brokers, car dealerships, van dealerships and other automotive businesses that want to expand their customer proposition without building new systems, teams or supplier relationships from scratch.
Depending on the services selected, partners can use Rivervale Partner Services to:
- Access selected manufacturer-backed vehicle terms
- Generate recurring revenue through SMR
- Offer customers a more complete leasing package
- Improve customer retention and aftersales engagement
- Expand their proposition without significant additional overheads
- Draw on Rivervale’s leasing, fleet and dealership experience
The launch builds on Rivervale’s wider experience as a UK vehicle leasing and fleet management company, providing car, van and minibus leasing, maintenance, fleet management and vehicle support to individuals and businesses.
Rivervale Partner Services is now accepting enquiries from brokers and dealer groups interested in exploring new vehicle supply opportunities, white-label SMR or a combination of both services.
