If your personal lease car is stolen, here’s what to do.

Step 1: Check for any other missing items – Take a few minutes to ensure any other valuable items you own are okay.

Step 2: Call the police – Report the theft to the police. Give them the vehicle’s model name, colour and registration number, and obtain a crime reference number from them.

Step 3:  Contact your leasing company as soon as you can. At Rivervale Leasing, our friendly and sympathetic team will keep you calm, guide you through the process and provide you with all the info you need.

We’ll also help you to contact your insurance provider, so you can report the theft and begin the claims process. Just make sure you have a copy of the police report and your insurance details ready.

Having your personal lease car stolen is horrible, and that’s why we are committed to providing our customers as much help as we can. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Remember, reporting the theft to the police and your leasing company as soon as possible is crucial. The faster you act, the better your chances of recovering your vehicle or minimising any potential damage. Stay calm, and know that we’re here for you.
