The BMW i4 comes in different models to suit you.
The RWD eDrive 35 is packed with 282bhp and 295lb ft for 0-62mph in just six seconds. It is powered by a 70kWh battery that can last up t0 319 miles on just one charge.
Another option is alaso the eDrive40, which has an upgraded battery of 84/81kWh. The eDrive40 embodies 335bhp and 317lb ft for an impress 5.6 second 0-62mph. But does the extra performance decrease the range? No. It actually increases the electric range capability up to 380 miles.
The Twin-Motor i4

The i4 M60 is very impressive. It does 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds which is made possible by the 593bhp this car backs. The M60 sits in the M performance category.
The twin-motor i4 M60 has bigger tyres due to the performance which does lower the range to 338 miles.
A Tech-Focused Cabin
The BMW i4 features a familiar BMW interior, combining the feel of a sporty saloon with the practicality of a five-door hatchback. There’s a generous boot, making the i4 a particularly practical choice for everyday use.
The cabin’s main highlight is the curved display, which combines two screens beneath a single glass panel. The system is sharp, customisable and easy to navigate, with BMW’s familiar iDrive controller also retained.
However, the move away from physical buttons means some controls are now buried within the touchscreen menus. While the technology looks impressive, the system can feel overcomplicated and less intuitive than it needs to be. That being said though, it is a very smooth, clear way to use it to its full capabilities.
What's the Verdict?
The BMW i4 is a proper performance BMW with an electric powertrain. It has a comftorable cabin, practicality is high and it is a very enjoyable drive. It also packs strong range capabilities and fast charging making it easy for everyday.
