Vauxhall has confirmed the arrival of the new Astra and Astra Sports Tourer for 2026, adding fresh design, upgraded technology and more efficient powertrains across the range. Both models adopt the latest Vauxhall Vizor front end with a slimmer grille, new lighting signature and, for the first time on Astra, an illuminated Griffin badge.
Inside, the cabin has been updated with a cleaner layout and improved comfort. New Intelli-Seats are now standard on every version, designed to reduce pressure on long journeys. Higher trims gain AGR-certified seating with recycled ReNewKnit materials, heating and massage functions.
The Astra Electric also receives a major boost, now offering up to 282 miles of driving range from its 58kWh battery, plus Vehicle-to-Load capability for charging external devices. The full line up will include petrol, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric options.
Vauxhall will reveal UK specifications in January at the Brussels Motor Show. Rivervale will publish leasing prices and availability as soon as they are announced.
