Europe’s Best-Selling Toyota Gets an Update

Toyota has refreshed its Yaris Cross compact SUV with a cleaner design, improved interior details, and updated features, reinforcing its position as the brand’s best-selling model in Europe.

The Yaris Cross continues to focus on practicality, efficiency, and clever packaging, combining these strengths in a compact SUV format designed for urban and everyday use. Its popularity has been driven by strong demand across Europe, including the UK.

Refined Exterior Design

The updated model features a redesigned front end with a more modern, streamlined look. A new grille design, revised LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, and fresh alloy wheel options give the Yaris Cross a more confident road presence.

New paint options, including distinctive bi-tone combinations, further enhance its visual appeal and allow for greater personalisation.

Upgraded Interior Quality

Inside, the Yaris Cross benefits from a more premium feel, including updated door trims, refined materials, and improved seat designs on selected grades.

Higher trims introduce enhanced upholstery options, including partial leather and sustainable materials designed to reduce environmental impact while maintaining comfort and durability.

Ambient lighting, wireless charging, and upgraded convenience features are now more widely available across the range, improving everyday usability.

GR Sport Adds a Dynamic Edge

The GR Sport version introduces a more performance-focused look and feel, with exclusive styling details, sport seats, and GR branding throughout the cabin.

It also benefits from suspension tuning aimed at delivering sharper handling, giving the model a more engaging driving character while retaining hybrid efficiency.

Hybrid Efficiency and Driving Performance

All versions are powered by Toyota’s Hybrid 130 system, offering a balance of performance and low emissions. The system delivers smooth acceleration and efficient fuel consumption, making it well suited to both city and longer-distance driving.

Customers can choose between front-wheel drive and intelligent all-wheel drive depending on specification.

Continued Focus on Practicality and Safety

The Yaris Cross retains its strong focus on everyday usability, offering flexible rear seating, a practical boot layout, and compact SUV proportions ideal for urban environments.

Toyota Safety Sense comes as standard across the range, providing a comprehensive suite of driver assistance and safety technologies.

Ongoing Evolution of a Segment Leader

Since its launch, the Yaris Cross has been regularly updated to reflect customer feedback and evolving market demands. This latest refresh continues that approach, refining design, improving comfort, and enhancing technology while maintaining its core strengths as a practical hybrid SUV.

The updated range will be available in the UK from autumn 2026 across multiple grades, including Icon, Design, Excel, and GR Sport.
